ABOUT LOUISE O’DWYER

I am currently in private practice seeing individuals for one-on-one therapy sessions, co-facilitating group therapy and teaching embodiment workshops.  It is my great pleasure to be doing this work, and it is especially wonderful watching my clients lives begin to sparkle.

I’ve completed a four year Advanced Clinical Training in Relational Gestalt Therapy, a Bachelor of Education and a Performing Arts degree.  Alongside my therapy practice, I’ve written and performer critically-acclaimed theatre productions, and taught various workshops on embodiment, public speaking and performing skills.

I have an ongoing interest in developing a spiritual life, which was initially nurtured through my Steiner school education. I currently frequent the Zen Buddhist monastery in Porcupine Ridge, where I practices mindfulness in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and Plum Village. I am also a guitarist-pianist-singer, and have a lifelong deep love for playing music.
