What I do

Services:

I am a psychotherapist offering short and long-term counselling in a supportive, nurturing environment.  I help people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life changes, overwhelming feelings of sadness, loss and grief, anger, the effects of trauma and other mental health concerns. These sessions take place in-person in North Carlton and in Fitzroy. I also offer sessions via zoom. About Gestalt Therapy:

Gestalt Therapy is a relational modality of therapy, which utilises the therapeutic relationship itself and present-centred awareness to deepen self-understanding, authenticity and connection. Its aim is integration, increased flexibility and joy, and to invite change by deepening into our relationship to ourselves, to others, and to our environment.  The aim is to promote emotional health and well-being, to heighten self-awareness and to create stability in our lives.

An accredited Gestalt therapist has a minimum of four years intensive, experiential, psychotherapeutic training including their own personal therapy, supervised clinical experience, and an ongoing commitment to professional development and personal growth. This training includes, among other modalities, attachment theory and the latest research in neuroscience and trauma therapy.
